Since moving to Scotland I have been fascinated with the history and portraiture of hunting, shooting and fishing. Local estates and buildings in Argyll, including the local hotel I run, have walls adorned with stuffed and mounted animals. The whole idea of hunted outliving the hunters appeals to me – presenting images will breath new life into their dusty pelts and glazed eyes.
